Welcome
WELCOME TO FREEPORT! "Ships are the nearest things to dreams that hands have ever made, for somewhere deep in their oaken hearts the soul of a song is laid." -Robert N. Rose "Land was created to provide a place for boats to visit." -Brooks Atkinson "The first rule of sailing: Keep the ocean out of the boat." -Unknown "Lifes a reach, then you gybe." -Unknown "It isn't that life ashore is distasteful to me, but that life at sea is better." -Sir Francis Drake "A harbour is a place where ships taking shelter from storms are exposed to the fury of customs." -Ambrose Bierce "An admiral is that part of a warship which does the talking, while the figurehead does the thinking." -Unknown "For the truth is that I already know as much about my fate as I need to know. The day will come when I will die. So the only matter of consequence before me is what I will do with my allotted time. I can remain on shore, paralyzed with fear, or I can raise my sails and dip and soar in the breeze." -Richard Bode
